LOTUS OF UNITY
Art as the Language of the Heart. Unity as the Meaning of the Future.
I created a monumental public artwork in Ukraine — the Lotus of Unity fountain. Today, I see my next mission as bringing its meaning to the attention of the world.
For me, this is more than a work of art. It is a message to the humanity of the future — an invitation to create new meanings of unity, mutual support, and shared responsibility for life.
I am an advocate of beauty as the language of the heart — a language capable of transcending borders, connecting cultures, and reminding us of what unites us on a deeper level.
At the centre of the composition are hands joined in prayer, reaching towards a higher meaning. On either side are hands offering mutual support, symbolising human solidarity, compassion, and our capacity to be there for one another.
The lotus of human palms, rising from the mud towards the light, embodies a journey from ignorance to self-awareness, from division to mutual understanding, and from individual awakening to collective action.
Created in Ukraine, the Lotus of Unity carries a profound message: the resilience of the human spirit, which continues to create life despite pain, loss, and destruction. It embodies the strength that emerges when people unite in the name of something greater than themselves.
My project is open to everyone who shares the values of unity, mutual support, beauty, peace, and cultural dialogue.
I invite artists, thinkers, cultural institutions, international organisations, philanthropists, business leaders, and all those who share these values to become partners in the international presentation and development of the Lotus of Unity.
I welcome collaboration in the fields of culture, art, international communications, exhibitions, cultural diplomacy, partnership development, and resource mobilisation to support the next stages of the project.
I invite potential partners to engage in dialogue, develop joint initiatives, and take concrete steps to bring the message of the Lotus of Unity to the international community and establish it as part of a global cultural dialogue.
