Materials

Sapphirite stone: art glass, which was invented by masters in the city of Gablonz. During the manufacture of sapphirite, molten gold and sapphire pieces were used. The shades and transparency of the crystals depended on the observance of exact proportions with strict adherence to the technological sequence. Later, experimenting, rubies were used instead of sapphires so that the stones acquired pink shades.
