I have my own special recipe for cleaning and charging stones. I clean the stones with the energy of the five elements.
There are five primary elements of matter that are directly related to the sense organs of human: Earth, Water, Air, Fire, Ether.
FIVE GREAT ELEMENTS
There are five elements of the Matter, which are directly related to the human senses.
THE EARTH
The Earth is associated with the perception of a smell. The nose is connected in its work with the action of the organs of excretion. The Earth is present in the form of solid formations in the human body, such as bones, cartilage, tendons, skin, nails, and hair. This element is connected with the planet Mercury (Buddha). This is a female element.
THE WATER
The Water in the solid state (ice)corresponds to the energies of the Earth. When the elements of the Fire are mixed with ice, it melts and turns directly into the element of the Water. The Water turns into steam under the further influence of the Fire, thus personifying the Air. The element of the Water controls the taste receptor. A human could not have a taste without water. The tongue is associated with the genitals in Ayurveda and the planet Venus (Sukra) in the Vedic astrology. The Water is associated with digestive juices, mucous membranes, salivary glands and blood plasma in the human body. The human body is composed of 85 percent water. The Water is considered as a female element and belongs to Moon.
THE AIR
The Air is directly connected with the touch. A human receives impulses of touch through the skin. The hand is the main organ of action in the process of touch. The Air is also associated with the movements of the muscles, with the expansion and contraction of the muscles during breathing, with the heartbeat, the transmission of nervous excitation in the human body. The touch is associated with the energy of Saturn (Shani) in the Vedic astrology.
THE FIRE
The Fire manifests itself in the matter in the form of light, heat, and color. It is associated with the organ of vision, which is patronized by the planet Mars (Mangala). The power of the Fire is responsible for the energy and determination of the person. This is characteristic of male energy, an also the potency to the destruction of internal barriers.
THE ETHER
The energy of the Ether is associated with the organ of hearing. The Ether is the medium through which sound is transmitted. It is represented in the human body by the ear, as well as spaces that serve to fill all four elements in the human body, for example, the space in the mouth, respiratory tract, abdominal cavity and so on. This is the planet Jupiter (Guru) according to the Vedic tradition. Everything can appear in the Ether. It is at the highest level according to the hierarchy of elements because matter was initially manifested through the sound of Om.
This knowledge is important in order to understand deeply enough the principles of cleaning stones with the Five Elements.
NOTE
There is a ban on cleaning of some stones with water or salt.
Water cleaning is the most common method, but be aware that not all stones can be exposed to water, for example: Fluorite, Kyanite, Astrophyllite, Turquoise, Azurite, Heulandite, Selenite, Muscovite (also known as Common Mica, Isinglass, or Potash Mica), Uvarovite, Calcite, Seraphinite (a particular form of Clinochlore), Stilbite, Chrysocolla, Celestite (also called Celestine), Geyserite.
Do not use the salt cleansing method for those stones that have a porous structure. These include Turquoise, Amber, Aquamarine, Opal, Moonstone, Fluorite, Hematite, Lapis Lazuli, Carnelian, Pyrite, Apophyllite, Labradorite, Сalcite, Cacholong (also known as Kalmuck Agate), Malachite, Onyx, Rhodonite, Rhodochrosite, Ulexite, Eudialyte.
THE FIRST STEP (EARTH)
Place the stone in a container and fill it with salt for at least a day. It is better to use sea salt. Then add water to the salt with the stone to dissolve the salt. After that, place the vessel in the freezer until the salt solution freezes. Salt and ice are the energies of the earth. Finally, defrost the ice.
Use soil to those stones that are not suitable for cleaning with salt. Place the stone in the ground for a day or more.
THE STAGE TWO (WATER)
Use any vessel made from natural material (I use an old bowl that is more than three hundred years old). Place the stone in a vessel under a stream of cold water. The water washes out the salt completely and charges the stone with the energy of the water element for several hours. Then remove the stone from the vessel and gently wipe it with a soft flannel cloth.
THE THIRD STAGE (AIR)
Put a stone behind the window of your home for exposure to the element of Air. The stone receives the energy of the sun in the daylight. This is the main energy in Vedic astrology, which enhances the spirit of the stone.If this stone is a pearl (a stone of feminine energy), then place it outside while the full moon moving across the sky.
FOURTH STAGE (FIRE)
Place the stone in the vessel in the center of the room. Light a candle in the same vessel. Purification by fire is completed after the candle has completely burned out.
I use the Tibetan singing bowl as a vessel, which is important for the last (fifth) cleaning stage.
FIFTH STAGE (ETHER)
I begin to extract sounds from the Tibetan singing bowl after the candle burns out. Thus, the stone absorbs the elements of Ether.
The stone is almost ready for use after described stages. I will not announce what days, time of day, and how I “animate” a stone that corresponds to a certain planet. This is a ritual that can be briefly described in three words: Tantra-Yantra-Mantra.
But I will show another valuable secret to you – many stones like to be oiled after cleaning and charging. That’s why I take a few drops of high-quality oil (flax, sesame, amaranth, black cumin or other oil, which I consider to be suitable for the stone), rubbing it in my palms, and then “saturate” the stone with oiled hands.
